On October 13, 2024, The Great Saltair located in Magna, Utah welcomed Clairo, a cozy singer-songwriter followed by the talented Alice Phoebe Lou, artists both looked up to throughout the wide Indie community we have to offer. The Charm Tour is the ongoing fourth concert tour that Clairo has done, supporting her third studio album. “Charm” was released this past July and gave fans the perfect chill, summer lounge playlist, sending listeners into a state of relaxing nostalgia.

Nessa Barrett

Nessa Barrett• The Young Forever Tour• w/ Isabela LaRosa• March 17, 2022• The Great Saltair

The Young Forever Tour is in full swing as it visited Salt Lake City coming close to ending its North America sets. Nessa Barrett is an upcoming artist that has gained a lot of popularity due to her social media presence. She brought along Isabela LaRosa, who also has been finding success through social media trying to promote her music. Both artists fall into a similar genre and fanbase. So she was an excellent choice for an opening act. Although the Complex was supposed to host Nessa and Isabela, they switched to The Great Saltair due to popular demand. I thought this was an excellent choice.

Morrissey September 28, 2019, The Great Saltair

Does one name stir up more emotion or thoughts than Morrissey?  When you think of Cher, Bono, Sting or Adel and I feel like when those names come up you either think good, bad or indifferent thoughts.  That’s impossible with Morrissey. You love him, you roll your eyes at some of the things he says, you passionately follow everything he stands for, you feel bad for his maudlin ways, you identify with those maudlin ways, you wonder if he’s ok, you envy his seemingly impenetrable sense of self confidence.  You can’t really feel just one thing or the other with that guy. His persona, like his songs, produces a cornucopia of emotions. And such was the case on September 28, 2019, when Morrissey brought his Fall 2019 US Tour to The Great Saltair.
