Chappell Roan’s concert was a captivating experience. Showcasing her unique blend of soulful vocals and compelling songwriting. The Depot buzzed with anticipation as she took the stage. I spoke to a few fans in the front row. They told me that the night was “Space” themed. People across the general admission floor were dressed as aliens, astronauts, and everything in between. These fans also told me that I was in for a great show. Little did they know that I had seen Chappell Roan in concert. I got to be there at her sold-out show the Soundwell just a few blocks from The Depot.

The Band CAMINO finally made their way to Orem, Utah at the UCCU Center for their Screaming in the Dark tour and boy was it a night that I will never forget. The Band Camino was a band that I was familiar with, having their top hits cycle through my playlists from time to time. But, after what I experienced on that spectacular night I immediately became a permanent fan.

It was clear that the Utah audience was enthused to have them back, as the line for admission wrapped around the block well before the concert began. In line, fans buzzed with excitement as they shared memories about the numerous times they had seen Collective Soul live. Despite reaching peak popularity in the 90s, the band clearly has since maintained a loyal fan base here in Utah. Fans sported old merch from past tours and albums, chatting with each other about the first time they saw Collective Soul in Utah. Witnessing the nostalgia that Collective Soul evokes in their fans was a truly heartwarming moment.

Everclear, the rock band formed in Portland, Oregon made its way to the DeJoria Center in Kamas to perform for its tour with The Ataris & The Pink Spiders. I know what you’re thinking… Kamas?! Utah’s music scene seems to only be prevalent in the confines of Salt Lake City and the metropolitans nearby. The town you drive by to go to the Uintah’s was the last place I would’ve thought to have a music scene. However, it didn’t disappoint

The Offspring brought incredible energy to USANA Amphitheatre on September 7th and gave their fans an amazing performance. The band had originally planned on performing at USANA weeks earlier, on August 3rd with Sum 41 and Simple Plan. During that performance, a storm began slowly rolling in as the supporting bands took turns on the stage. By the time The Offspring were set to perform, the weather was bad enough to require an evacuation of the venue. The show was postponed before the crowd ever got a glimpse of the Headliners. The Offspring promised they would be back, and they didn’t leave their eager fans waiting too long. On September 7th, the weather was perfect and The Offspring fans of all ages returned and filled the amphitheater.

As summer draws near its end, concertgoers packed the outdoor stage of The Great Saltair Saturday evening to catch the Wet Hot All-American Summer Tour featuring All-American Rejects. The sun began to set over the water as The Get Up Kids started the night off. I wasn’t super familiar with their music but I know that they had a few big punk rock hits. They came out and got the energy nice and warmed up. It was a great set.
