If you’re a fan of alternative rock, then you know that Young the Giant is one of the best bands around. On Thursday, August 3, fans were able to rock out with Young the Giant at The Great Saltair in Magna, Utah. With Milky Chance and Rosa Linn opening, it was an unforgettable evening of music and energy that had the crowd dancing and singing along all night. It was truly an amazing experience that no fan of Young the Giant should miss.
Sitting along the shores of the Great Salt Lake in Magna, Utah, The Great Saltair provided an interesting backdrop for an incredible night of music with Young the Giant. Known for its unique architecture and breathtaking views, this historic venue created an ambiance unlike any other.
As fans made their way through the gates, they were greeted with a stunning view of the lake, adding to the anticipation and excitement in the air. The venue itself, with its grand columns and open-air design, exuded a sense of grandeur that only enhanced the concert experience.
Inside, the main stage was set against a backdrop of twinkling lights, creating a magical atmosphere as the sun set over the lake. The sound quality was great, allowing every note and lyric to be heard with absolute clarity.

Rosa Linn
Rosa Linn took the stage and brought a soulful and dynamic performance. Her powerful vocals and commanding stage presence captivated the audience. Her original songs showcased her unique sound and left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.
Milky Chance
Milky Chance followed with their infectious blend of indie pop and folk. The German duo’s energetic performance had the crowd immediately hooked. Their hits like “Stolen Dance” and “Cocoon” had everyone singing along and dancing in unison. The chemistry between the band members felt so authentic, and their genuine enthusiasm for performing was obvious.
Both opening acts did an incredible job of warming up the crowd and setting the stage for Young the Giant. They brought their own unique styles and energy to the stage, creating an electric atmosphere that continued to build throughout the night.

As the clock struck 9pm, the crowd erupted into cheers and applause as the lights dimmed and the familiar chords of Young the Giant’s opening song filled the air. The band burst onto the stage with an energy that was palpable, instantly capturing the attention of everyone in the venue. The lead singer, Sameer Gadhia, commanded the stage with his powerful vocals and magnetic stage presence, captivating the audience from the very first note.
From the moment they started playing, it was clear that Young the Giant was in their element. They flawlessly performed song after song, with each one resonating through the crowd and eliciting an enthusiastic response. Their sound was even better live than on their studio recordings, showcasing their incredible talent and musicianship.

People were jumping and just completely losing it as they sang along with the chorus. It’s was a perfect ending to the show.
