Tash Sultana’s performance at Sandy Amphitheater on May 30th was a masterclass in musicianship, creativity, and connection. On a warm evening under the open sky, fans gathered to witness one of the most unique performers in modern music. They were rewarded with a concert that felt both intimate and larger than life. Known for blending multiple genres and building entire songs live through looping, Tash Sultana delivered a captivating set that showcased extraordinary talent and an unmistakable passion for performance. This was the perfect concert to usher in a summer full of great shows at the Sandy Amphitheater.

Seeing Tash Sultana live is more than just a concert. It’s an all-encompassing experience. Sultana is the only one on stage. But you would never know it by the layers upon layers of music that are coming out of the speakers and into the stands. There was a vibrant energy throughout the audience and it was clear that the people there were expecting a fun night. The line for merch was lengthy but shortened just in time for Tash Sultana to take the stage. I like the way Sandy Amphitheater set up the merch booth. The line forms on the hill so people can actually watch the show from a distance as they wait to buy a shirt.

WOW…

When I sat down after the show to write this review, I honestly didn’t know where to start or how to put into words the way that this performance made me feel. How do you begin to describe an experience so uniquely itself that there’s nothing to compare it to? How do you help someone who wasn’t there understand just how much this experience moved you or inspired you? I’ll try my best, but if nothing else, what I will say is that if you ever get the chance to see Tash Sultana live – take it. I promise it will be an experience you’ll never forget.
