There are some bands that simply know how to throw a party, and 311 has been doing exactly that for decades. When the Omaha, Nebraska, rockers took the stage at Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre, they brought with them a sound that has always been difficult to put into just one category. Rock, reggae, funk, hip-hop and alternative influences all came together for a night that felt less like a concert and more like a giant outdoor celebration. We have had the opportunity to cover 311 many times. They always bring it. I don’t think I’ve ever seen their fans leave disappointed.
