Wind from the south not quite refreshing sea breeze but at least it’s a bit of cooling wind- seas reflect the South Swell and light s/w wind chop— Wave Height 3.3 ft /Dominant Wave Period 11 sec / Mean Wave Direction SSE ( 167 deg true ) Water Temperature (74.3 °F Having made the early morning run down to Salt Creek for the Yellowtails lots of boats there —reported — no fish seen boated— Wed’s the 26 of August- More HH’s Hot humid, hazy and heat- Next few weeks look interesting on the weather front—wind, swells, thunder, maybe rain- it’s a coming- Stronger south wind accompanying that big south swell this morning- , Yellowtails on the coastline—yesterday-(Salt Creek/ the Pipe/ Long beach ) bigger fish till 8 am then rats moved in-lots of boat traffic then they all went away— not one fish seen coming over the rails this morning— We’re out here on the 14— 77 degree water purple blue— some flying fish starting to pop up— 10:53 A call- from the Chance’s R— Haven, 10 years old boats her Striped Marlin— - they hadn't even gotten the spread out when they had a triple—- landing two of them— A little chunky on the way out— as soon as they hooked the fish it went glassy—- Nice and Congrats to Haven—
